“Man was born
free, but everywhere he is in chains”- Jean Jacques Rousseu – French
philosopher and writer.
The
purpose of this blogsite is the pursuit at all times of the finest aspects of
man(woman).Indeed man has been behind some of the worst tragedies that have
afflicted mankind just as humanity has also borne eloquent testimony to the
virtues of man. The existence of good ,side by side with evil leaves man at all times
with a choice –to lend ourselves to the destructive force of evil or to
work for good. Either way, conflict is inevitable. We want to change Nigeria and
we want to change her for good. We are aware that all good things come with a
price. Nigeria is a good thing, a lovely thing. What are you willing to give up
to save her from those in power who have, for over fifty years willfully and
maliciously defiled her and ,to date, constantly violate her at will while we
look on helplessly?.We do not ask you to
shed blood or give yourself up for martyrdom. Sacrifice a little bit of your
time to contribute to promote this site till we build a vast army of patriots
and true Nigerians who do not see themselves as defenders and promoters of
ethnic, regional and religious cleavages.
This
site is not for Christians, Muslims or non-believers, neither is it for Ibos,
Yorubas, Hausa-Fulanis , minorities. It is for Nigerians from every creed and
persuasion, young and old who feel that Nigeria is worth any and every effort made
to save her from perdition.
In
operating this site ,we want to urge contributors to embrace civility and respect for others` opinions and views .we must stop
being our own enemies knowing that division has always been the principal tool
used by the oppressors to keep us perpetually down.
